Thom Jones Presents…

JULIAN MONTFREE

Julian Montfree
Jools was born as the only son of a minor noble. His parents are now deceased through natural means. It was his parents wish that he would become a priest and was tutored as such from an early age. As Jools grew older he found that he did not feel the calling to be a priest, finding the colorful taverns around the town much

more full of life than a stuffy church. As time passed Jools felt the need to be more than just a priest and that his destiny lay in another direction. Sticking to his parents wishes he continued with his priestly duties. When his parents passed away he gave his family estate to the church and was given shelter in one of the local churches in return.

One night Jools had a dream, a servant of Millil came down to him in
his dream and told him to go forth into the world and do the bidding
of Millil. When he awoke he thought nothing much of it, possible to
much cheese before bed and he put it to one side. Over the next few
days he felt strange, even more out of sorts with his current life
style than he did before.

Several days later he found himself in a town square where there
was an accident with a cart and a small boy. The small boy's
Foot was run over by the cart and had been badly cut. Without
thinking Jools reached out to the small boy to try to examine the
wound and whilst he was doing so he felt a wave wash over him and
pass into the boy. Before his very eyes and the eyes of the villagers
around him he saw the wound on the boys foot heal up.

Withdrawing his hand and holding it out to look at as if it where
not part of him, he ran through the crowd back to the church and
banged on the door of the chaplain. Distraught it took the chaplain
several minutes to calm Jools down before he could get the story
of what had happened in the village square. The chaplain was amazed

by the story and at first did not believe him, but by now the word of the miracle had reached the church. The bishop was sent for and after hearing the story at the village square and the dream that
Jool had, he insisted that Jools follow the vision, he must leave the church and go where the will of Millil may take him. Jools left the church the next day and felt a new fire inside him and a focus that his life up to that point had seemed to lack. Over the next few months other gifts where bestowed upon him.
